Mary Powelson is an actor, director, playwright, and teacher. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in Theatre from San Francisco State. Mary created and ran a San Francisco youth theatre company where its community tended artistry and humanity. She taught algebra, playwrighting, and led story workshops with young women. Her son, her people and the theatre are her deepest joys.
