Lori Jakiela is the author of several books, most recently Belief is it’s Own Kind of Truth, Maybe (re-released by Autumn House Press in 2019), a memoir that received the William Saroyan Prize for International Literature from Stanford University. Her work has been published in The New York Times (Modern Love), the Washington Post, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh Magazine and more.
