Dawn Marlan is a Senior Lecturer in Comparative Literature at the University of Oregon. She writes personal essays, novels, and cultural criticism. Her work has appeared in anthologies, literary journals, and national magazines including, Lilith, The Evergreen Review, The Atticus Review, PMLA, Modernism/Modernity, The Chicago Review, and The Oregonian.
