The Opioid Epidemic Anthology
We are currently seeking articles, essays, poems, short fiction and interviews for inclusion in our second upcoming Pact Press anthology that will focus upon the opioid epidemic. Net proceeds from our anthology will benefit Shatterproof, a nonprofit that seeks to treat and provide assistance to those suffering from addiction. If you have a piece that you would like to be considered for inclusion in our anthology, please submit it to: firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Opioid Anthology Submission’ in the subject line.
Deadline for anthology submissions: November 15, 2017
Fiction and Poetry Submissions
Pact Press also publishes short stories, poetry, and literary fiction that speak to our particular themes of social justice, racism, discrimination, gender equality, LGBTQ concerns, immigration, poverty and homelessness.
A query letter, a one-page synopsis of your story, and the first three chapters of your novel or the first fifty pages, whichever is more. If you are submitting an essay, interview or poem, please send us your work in its entirety.
Please add in the email subject line: “Submission – ‘title of your work.'”
We accept only electronic submissions.
We will respond within twenty-four hours to let you know that we have received your submission, which will then be forwarded to our acquisition editors for careful consideration. We will notify you within two to three weeks if additional chapters are required.
