Decades ago, autodidact & bloody-minded optimist Kerry Rawlinson gravitated from sunny Zambian skies to solid Canadian soil. A long career in Architectural Technology assisted her family’s transitions through the rocky New World—but Art & Literature’s Muses were gagged, & stuffed in a closet. Fast-forward: they’re free! and now (in-between volunteering duties) Kerry follows them around the Okanagan, barefoot; her patient husband ensuring she’s fed and the grandkids pretending she’s not still in pyjamas.
Kerry’s won contests (e.g. Geist; Postcards, Poems&Prose; FusionArt) and features lately in Boned, Pedestal, Speculative66; AntiHeroinChic; ReflexFicton; pioneertown; Minola Review; CanadianLiterature; AdHocFiction; Adirondack Review; in Anthologies, e.g. Forgotten Women,(Grayson Books); amongst many others. Pact Press is proud to include two of Kerry’s pieces, “Intersects” and “Good Morning, Death,” in our upcoming anthology.
